Being diagnosed with cancer more than once can feel like getting hit by lightning twice: a combination of shock, disbelief, anger, fear, anxiety, and grief. It can also bring back the same emotions you felt when you were first diagnosed, but they might be even stronger. You might feel discouraged and overwhelmed, and you might be more cautious and guarded, or you might have the tools you lacked the first time. In short, experiencing cancer again is a whirlwind of feelings.
If this sounds like you, join me on January 14 at our Pop-Up Writing Workshop on the theme of "The Second Time Around (Diagnosed Twice)." Learn to use writing as a tool to navigate these complicated feelings that come from being diagnosed with cancer more than once, in the company of those who understand this all too well.
For this workshop, you have been diagnosed with breast cancer at least once — either breast cancer again or another cancer.
When: Tuesday, January 14, at 12:30pm PST / 3:30pm EST
