(annual) BODY
Our annual BODY issue is back for the eighth year! As always, this incredibly popular and poignant issue will cover all the body-related concerns and preoccupations that a breast cancer diagnosis brings. From breast changes, to hair, to body image issues, to the physical symptoms of early menopause and treatment or surgery.
Do you have a story to tell about your body and the transformation brought on by a breast cancer diagnosis?
Welcome back our guest editor Dana Donofree, the founder of AnaOno Intimates, for this highly anticipated issue.
We accept:
Essays: 650-1200 words
Poems: 50 line maximum
Artwork: high-resolution along with a written Artist Statement
Submission Deadline: April 25, 2025

If my body could speak, it would tell me…
The scars you can't see...
The rest of the story: what my medical file doesn't tell you about what this body means to me...
My body is living proof of...
My body is not an apology...
